Wearing a Deep Green Suit

Wearing a Deep Green Suit
The short version

Of all the suits we have sold, this is one of our favorites, forest green, deep green or emerald green. Our clients have worn this suit for professional attire, weddings, prom or as a tuxedo jacket. Below we will show you how to wear it.

Of all the suits we have sold, this is one of our favourites, forest green. Our clients have called it many different things:

  • Emerald green

  • Forest green

  • Deep green

  • Shaded Spruce

Our clients have worn this suit for professional attire, weddings, prom or as a tuxedo jacket. Below we will show you how to wear it.

Style #1

Let's start with the title picture. Everything can be paired with pastels like light to mid blue. Whether that is the dress shirt or pocket square. A deeper blue towards navy would be great for a tie as well.

A bolder look would be a green suit and black shirt. This would be worn without a tie and a black textured pocket square.

Style #2

Naturally, brown and green go great together! Anywhere from tan to dark, rich browns even leading into copper. Reminder a few rules while matching colours. The tie should be darker than the shirt and the tie and pocket square should never match but compliment. Brown shoes also work best for green suits, but opt for oxblood as well.

Style #3

A crisp, tailored, white dress shirt is the perfect addition to every wardrobe. It goes with everything. When it comes to the deep green suit, the white allows the suit colour to pop! Adding in a mid-dark charcoal grey tie will add class while keeping the green as the focal point. A white pocket square would also look better in this look.

Notice this suit has peak lapels. A power look.

Style #4

3-piece emerald green suits are a beautiful thing but can be a bit too much green for some men. If you resonate with that, opt for a navy blue, light grey or brown vest instead. A black bow-tie and white pocket square will keep this look classy and timeless.

Style #5

A lighter green more towards olive in this outfit keeps some of the principles of previous outfits in place. The blue is a little bolder but the brown belt and shoes still pop. Whether you are going olive green, emerald green, forest green or deep green in your suit, play with different colours but allow the green to be the focal point.
